 City of L City Watch System City Police and City Council have joined forces to improve security in and around the city centre with a new closed circuit television system. The City-Watch System comprises 242 Public Realm cameras, with presets and advanced privacy zones, and a central control station with six operator positions and one supervisor position, a 60 monitor video wall, and advanced touch screen GUI monitors. Operators in the central control room monitor CCTV footage in real time 24 hours a day. Footage is converted into time-lapse video and held in the control station’s main IBM computer for 31 days before finally cascading off the system. |
